The German accreditation organisation AHPGS (Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences) accredited our Master course, this happened on the request of the University of Applied Sciences Tyrol, in 2009. This makes our Master the first Master of Science in Osteopathy to be accredited in continental Europe (and obviously in Germany too). An accreditation is the highest possible recognition of a university course, and this means that you can take the Master of Science in Osteopathy degree to as many as 46 European countries!

The University of Applied Sciences Tyrol offers this Master in collaboration with the IAO. It is a full Master that consists of 120 ECTS. With the Master in Osteopathy students can further specialise and subsequently also begin their PhD. It is a modular course that lasts 5 six-month terms, and at the end students are awarded the title Master of Science in Osteopathy (MSc. Ost.).
The IAO is always looking for new possibilities and ways of improving our courses even further. We are therefore incredibly proud to have achieved this accreditation. For our students, this undoubtedly adds extra value to their degree!
